ABTS and ANBC Sign a Memorandum of Understanding

September 1, 2020

Beirut, Lebanon – The Arab Baptist Theological Seminary (ABTS) and the Arabic Nazarene Bible College (ANBC) signed an agreement to collaborate on various academic programs. The collaboration starts with both institutions sharing faculty resources and with ANBC students taking courses at ABTS, and progressively leads up to the establishment of an Arab Center for Wesleyan Studies at ABTS.

ABTS is a seminary located in Lebanon that serves the Church in Lebanon and the Arab world by equipping leaders and providing resources.

ANBC is a decentralized school for training church leaders for the Nazarene Church in the Middle East through church-based seminars, mainly in Jordan and Lebanon.

Both ABTS and ANBC operate with limited resources. This agreement is designed to find synergies and to leverage each institution’s strengths by collaborating at the level of students, faculty, curricula, programs, and facilities, leading up to the establishment of a new Arab Center for Wesleyan Studies at ABTS.

The respective boards of ABTS and ANBC have endorsed this agreement with the conviction that this collaboration will strengthen the witness and the impact of the Church in the Arab world.
