ABTS Degrees Receive Accreditation from the European Evangelical Accrediting Association

ABTS is proud to announce that the European Evangelical Accrediting Association (EEAA) has accredited all our on-campus degree programs. These six degrees are:

1. The Bachelor of Theology program (BTh), an Arabic language three-year college level program of study with deep Biblical, Historical, Theological, Social and Personal Reflection designed for ministry leaders who want solid academic training.

2. The Diploma in Theology program. The diploma consists of the first two years of the BTh.

3. The Certificate in Theology program. The certificate consists of the first year of the BTh.

4. The Master of Divinity program (MDiv), an Arabic language, three-year, graduate level degree that provides an in-depth analytic expansion of undergraduate studies with advanced requirements and expectations.

5. The Post Graduate Certificate Program. The Post Graduate Certificate consists of the first year of the MDiv.

6. The Master of Religion in Middle Eastern and North African Studies, which is our only English language program, and includes on-campus and online-learning components. This multidisciplinary degree academically trains Evangelical leaders from all over the world in MENA history, politics, economics, Islam, culture, and Christianity.

Accreditation for all these degrees was approved following the accreditation visit by EEAA between October 28 and 30, 2014. The decision was taken in the EEAA Council in April of this year, and communicated to us at the end of May.

The Certificate in Ministry, ABTS’s new online degree program, was launched in February 2015. We will seek accreditation for this degree after the first cohort of students has graduated, within two years’ time.

We praise God for this important milestone for our institution, and for the many partner and friends who lift us up in prayer and support us generously. Please pray that ABTS continues to progress as we serve the Arab Church in its mission through theological education and leadership formation.
